So it's officially been years since I've blogged. And I kinda miss it. Mostly I just love reading other people's blogs and when I was reading my roommates blog today I decided it was time for mine to recommence. Life is an amazingly splentabulous thing. I love it. I have purpose in it. I know who I am.
It has now been about 4.5 months since I have returned from serving a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. And now, this week, I get to go back and visit the people that I taught there, and see the people who changed my life. I am grateful to a loving Heavenly Father who is so mindful of me. He knows my needs and my wants and is daily blessing me with tender mercies and miracles.
That's part of what I hope this blog becomes. I want to share some of those tender mercies I see, and help others to see how much of a hand that God plays in our lives every day. I love it!
So for today:
1) I coach gymnastics to a group a preteen girls. Today, we were working on their bar routines, and all of the sudden they were all around me saying that I needed to stay with them in ID, instead of coming home to MA because they needed me as part of their gym family. It was uber cute.
2) Feeling the need to finally do something that has been on my to-do list for a while...and being in the exact place where I was needed at the right time.
3) Having a grandma who spoils me rotten :)
4) Having a random old guy talk to me on the shuttle for most of the 4 hour ride down to salt lake. yes. annoying at times. but was it needed? yes.
5) Having amazingly splentabulous roommates. One who inspired me to start up a blog again. And another who makes me laugh like everyday. Oh annabelle. I miss them. alot. "Be happy!"
